The opening weekend of the 2016 college football season is being dubbed as the best of all time. The highlight will take place Saturday night in Arlington, Texas, as Alabama starts its national title defense against USC.

The Crimson Tide and the Trojans have not met since 1985 and will both be starting a new quarterback. Redshirt freshman Blake Barnett will lead the new-look offense for Alabama, which will heavily rely on sophomore receiver Calvin Ridley.

The Tide's defense will be led by Eddie Jackson and a strong secondary. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:14 pm CST (8:14 p.m. ET) on ABC.
