Indiana State Sycamores Feeling Ill After Losing 27 Straight Football Games

Indiana State opened the FSC season with a 26-20 lose to NAIA member Quincy in OT.

Indiana State shot out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter behind a Braulio Martinez 40 yard field goal and Ryan Roberts' five-yard pass from Chris Stutzriem (Braulio Martinez Kick) and a Bryant Kent 75-yard pass from Darrius Gates (Braulio Martinez Kick).

Quincy would spend the next two quarters adding field goals, so, winning 17-6 heading into the fourth quarter, Indiana State had thoughts racing through thier minds of ending thier 26-game losing streak.

Quincy started strong in the fourth with a Tyler Truttmann 12 yard pass from Sam Donatucci (Sam Donatucci Pass to Chris Jenkins for two-point conversion).
