Wisconsin rushed for 184 yards and forced a crucial turnover in its 24-16 victory over Western Michigan in the 2017 Cotton Bowl Classic. The Broncos trailed 17-10 early in the fourth quarter, but Wisconsin's T.J. Edwards intercepted quarterback Zach Terrell at the 12-yard line to set up Wisconsin's pull-away score.
Senior running back Corey Clement led the way with 99 total yards and a touchdown, and it was an efficient game from quarterback Bart Houston. He was 11-of-12 passing for 159 yards, and he delivered some great passes on third down. His favorite target was tight end Troy Fumagalli, who finished with 83 yards and a touchdown.
