There would be no last-play disaster for Michigan (8-0) this year against in-state rival Michigan State (2-6).

This year, the undefeated Wolverines handed the Spartans a 32-23 defeat on their home turf in East Lansing, Michigan.

The second-ranked Wolverines used their strong passing attack to take charge of the game in the first half and maintain a secure hold on it, something they were unable to do a year ago.

The Spartans scored the game-winning touchdown in 2015 on the final play of the game, when Michigan botched a punt and Michigan was able to recover the football and run it into the end zone for the decisive score.&nb...
