It didn't have the fireworks of the previous two Bahamas Bowls, but that doesn't take any of the excitement away from Old Dominion. The Monarchs fought off a determined Eastern Michigan team, claiming a 24-20 victory in the Bahamas Bowl at Nassau, Bahamas and, presumably, claiming more free Popeye's chicken for themselves.
It's Old Dominion's first bowl win in its eighth season as a program (and fourth as an FBS team) and also clinched a 10-win season.
