The North Carolina Tar Heels advanced to the finals of the 2016 Maui Invitational on Tuesday with a commanding 107-75 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The No. 4-ranked Tar Heels moved to 6-0 with their first victory over a major-conference opponent of the season. The owners of the 1999, 2004 and 2008 Maui Invitational titles looked plenty comfortable in Maui, Hawaii, and shot 57.8 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from three-point range.
