North Carolina junior Theo Pinson's status for the start of the 2016-17 season is up in the air due to a fractured bone in his right foot.

According to Bret Strelow of the Winston-Salem Journal, the Tar Heels announced Pinson fractured the fifth metatarsal in his foot during practice this week. 

Pinson does not have a definitive timetable to return, with the school's announcement saying he will be out indefinitely.
