The No. 5 Duke Blue Devils won their 130th consecutive nonconference game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday, as they downed the Michigan State Spartans in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
The experienced Blue Devils faced a challenge from the young Spartans in the first half, as the visitors thrived in transition to avoid the length of Duke in the paint. That led to a tie game at halftime.
Duke began to pull away with 14 minutes left in the second half, as it unleashed an 11-0 run led by Grayson Allen. Allen, who had an awful first half, ended with 24 points despite shooting 7-for-21 from the field.
