Kentucky Wildcats guard Malik Monk went off against No. 7 North Carolina on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas at the CBS Sports Classic, recording 47 points in a 103-100 win.
It was the most points scored by a Kentucky freshman in program history, per NCAA March Madness, and the Wildcats needed every one of those as his final three-pointer came with 16.7 seconds left to put the Wildcats up 101-100.
