On the season's opening night, Indiana launched its way into the national conversation with a win over Kansas. A couple of weeks later, the Hoosiers lead the pack of teams that are heading backward in the latest Associated Press poll.

Indiana dropped from No. 3 to No. 13 in this week's rankings after its baffling 71-68 loss to Fort Wayne on Nov. 22. 

Kentucky remains the nation's cream of the crop after moving to 6-0 and is followed closely by defending champion Villanova. North Carolina replaces Indiana at No. 3, while Kansas and Duke round out the Top Five.
