Sunday night saw a heavy rainstorm pause Vanderbilt's matchup with Cal State Fullerton in the sixth inning. The Commodores better hope the delay winds up waking up their bats.

Fullerton will have a 3-0 lead with two outs in the bottom of the sixth when play resumes at noon ET (11 a.m. local) Monday, using key at-bats to put the defending champs on the brink of elimination. Taylor Bryant and Josh Vargas each drove in runs against Carson Fulmer, who threw three wild pitches as he struggled with accuracy.
