After an intense tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, the Vanderbilt Commodores have won the 2014 College World Series, becoming NCAA champions—and there were a few players who were key to their title run.
After surviving the double-elimination bracket, the Commodores were able to make it to the final series against the Virginia Cavaliers. They were able to win a close one in Game 1 by a single run at 9-8, but the Cavaliers came back with a 7-2 victory on Tuesday.
