The NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament has no time for teams not up to the daunting task. Sixty-four teams were quickly whittled down to 16 after the double-elimination Regionals, setting the stage for the 2015 College Baseball Super Regionals.

The only national seed not to reach the Super Regionals happened to be, on paper, the best of them. National No. 1 seed UCLA suffered a 2-1 defeat to Maryland late Monday night, a brutal finish to a brilliant season.
