This is certainly not the least painful way to make an out.
Arizona shortstop Kevin Newman was running back to make a play on a fly ball Friday night against UCLA. Newman couldn't find the ball with his glove, however, which led to it bouncing off his head.
Fortunately, left fielder Jared Oliva kept his eyes on the ball and made a diving catch after it clanked off Newman's dome.
Arizona had the play of the night, but UCLA notched the 1-0 win in extra innings.
