
Washington State's Layne Bruner plunked Arizona State outfielder Johnny Sewald to load the bases in the sixth inning Saturday night. Instead of charging the mound, Sewald did something you really don't see too often.
He caught the baseball. Then he threw it back.
The pitch hit Sewald right in the torso, enabling him to cup it with his elbow. He calmly took the ball and flipped it back to Bleacher Report - College Baseball
