The Longhorns found themselves trailing at the half 35-23, but outscored the Jayhawks 51-28 in the second half behind a 23-point performance by J'Covan Brown, who knocked down many key shots down the stretch.  With the loss, Ohio State and San Diego State ...

Judging by the number of wide receivers in Butch Jones' first recruiting class, it is safe to say Cincinnati will be throwing the ball around a little bit next season.  The Bearcats already have six receivers committed in the class of 2011, three of whom are ranked in the top 100 in the country, according to Rivals.com.  The Bearcats will have to replace three of their top four receivers, including Armon Binns, Vidal Hazelton and Marcus Barnett.  D.J. ...

Kansas looked phenomenal against Baylor this past Monday but doesn't always blow out teams by 20 points. In my eyes, the Big 12 conference is the best conference in all of ...

LSU Tigers Football: Les Miles Tells Michigan Wolverines No Thank You Again

Posted by James Walker on January 11 2011 Add Comments
When will the Michigan Wolverines and Big Ten get it?  Les Miles already told you “no” once back in 2007, and he’s telling you again.  He likes it just fine down in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, thank you very much. Why would he leave LSU and attempt to clean up that train wreck in Ann Arbor?  Seriously, the Michigan administration and fanbase are clearly lost in yesteryear, and Les Miles knows he has a great situation down on ...

BCS National Championship: Auburn vs. Oregon now officially a classic

Posted by Rich Thomaselli on January 11 2011 Add Comments
Wow, this fairly pathetic, boring second half has just become a classic as Oregon scores a touchdown and then gets the twpo-point conversion to tie the game at 19-19 with just over two minutes to play. Will we have our first overtime national championship game? Will Cam Newton rise to the occasion and perform the two-minute drill? Will Oregon's defense come up with another big play? Will Batmn and Robin get out of this dastardly trap set by the ...

In Boston College's first play of the ensuing series, Chase Rettig dropped back to throw the ball, only to see his pass tipped by Doyle Miller.  Free Safety Marlon Johnson, acting very alertly, swooped in on the tipped ball and finished off the play, picking off Rettig and giving Nevada the ball close to mid-field.
