On Facebook, there’s a game where you had to fill in the ‘Top Five’ sports teams you hated, and Michigan was No. 3 behind Chelsea Football Club and the Boston Red Sox.

After Monday night, the VFA’s thinking of adding the Los Angeles Angels of Disney to that list, but that’s another story.

My hatred of Michigan didn’t start until about 2005. Penn State was so awful in the 2003 and 2004, the years I formally got introduced to Joe Paterno and his Nittany Lions (and no, those days weren’t fun). I didn’t particularly hate Michigan.
