The No. 6 Louisville Cardinals used a dominant defensive effort to topple the No. 16 Indiana Hoosiers 77-62 Saturday afternoon in a 2016 Countdown Classic matchup.

Donovan Mitchell poured in a career-high 25 points to lead Louisville (12-2), which shot 52.9 percent from the floor while holding Indiana (10-4) to a dismal 32.2 mark. The Hoosiers finished a meager 4-of-21 from three-point range.
