With a high ranking and not much of a resume, the Nebraska Cornhuskers earned their toughest win yet this season as they downed the Indiana Hoosiers on the road.
In a back-and-fourth contest that featured a pair of inept offensive performances, it was Nebraska that made the key plays in the fourth quarter to pull out the win.
With about eight minutes remaining, Nebraska led a seven-minute drive after an Indiana touchdown to put the game away with a field goal. On the ensuing drive, Indiana quarterback Richard Lagow was picked off to end the upset bid.
