Stanford 27, USC 10. Game Over.

The Stanford Cardinal appear ready for another run at the College Football Playoff Saturday, as it beat down USC at Stanford Stadium on Saturday.

Christian McCaffrey and a stout defensive effort were the culprits once again for Stanford, who continue to put out a contending team every season.

McCaffrey ran the ball 30 times for 165 yards and a touchdown, caught four passes for 73 yards and a score while also netting 22 return yards. He was the obvious focal point of the offense, and USC struggled to adjust when McCaffrey was moved around the formation. The junior's lone receiving touchdown also came on a busted coverage by USC.
