Florida State safety Derwin James is having surgery on his left knee to repair torn cartilage, head coach Jimbo Fisher told the Orlando Sentinel on Monday.

James' Timetable for Return Remains Uncertain

Though James doesn't have any serious damage in his knee, his return date is yet to be determined and will depend on his recovery from the surgery, according to Tim Linafelt of Seminoles.com. He won't be available against Louisville this week, per Bleacher Report - College Football
