Alabama destroyed USC to maintain its spot atop the Amway Coaches Poll on Tuesday after a highly entertaining first week of college football. While the Crimson Tide rolled, a couple of the nation's Top Six teams suffered losses in their openers to immediately shake up the rankings.

Oklahoma and LSU, which ranked third and sixth, respectively, in the preseason poll, can't be counted out of the playoff conversation despite the early losses. The Sooners and Tigers face virtually no margin for error throughout the rest of the 2016 campaign, though.
