Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd turned himself in to Greenville police in South Carolina on Tuesday morning on charges of assault and battery related to a July incident. 

Romando Dixson of the Greenville News reported police took out a warrant for Boyd's arrest Friday. The alleged complainant in the case didn't immediately come forward until speaking with an attorney about the incident, which took place at a local nightclub.
