There was news coming in from the world of Twitter that Junior CB Jordan Bernstine may have broken his ankle during practice today.  The Des Moines Register and Cedar Rapids Gazette have both confirmed this story as of this evening.
 
Bernstine was looking to start the season at cornerback for the Hawkeyes, leading the pack of defensive backs due partially to sophomore Shaun Prater's two-game DUI suspension.  Last year, Bernstine recorded 12 tackles and one interception.
