University of Michigan tailback Brandon Minor (Richmond, Va./Varina HS) headlines a list of three Big Ten Conference running backs named to the watch list for the 2009 Doak Walker Award, announced Tuesday evening (Aug. 4) by The Guaranty Bank SMU Athletic Forum.

The other league backs nominated for the award presented annually to the nation's top college running back were Wisconsin's John Clay and Ohio State's Dan Herron.

Minor earned All-Big Ten honorable mention from the conference coaches in 2008 after leading the team with 533 rushing yards on 103 carries and nine rushing touchdowns. He also added five receptions for 59 yards and two scores. Minor carried the ball a career-high 24 times for 155...
